A local kombucha brewer will open its own taproom March 24.
Humble Bumble Kombucha’s taproom will start a soft opening at their location at 1231 North Orange Ave. in Orlando.
Owner Brandon Stewart started brewing kombucha, a fermented tea drink, about 4 years ago. The probiotic drink helped him with some stomach problems.
It’s known in part for what Stewart described as a sour-sweet “almost apple cider vinegary taste.”
“It can be an acquired taste,” he said.
Humble Bumble brewed out of Market on South for several years, but outgrew the space. The taps have been taken out of the vegan food hall, but bottled kombucha will still be sold there.
The new space will feature bottled kombucha from all over Florida as well as a rotating tap line for other local kombuchas.
“We really wanted to open a kombucha hub,” Stewart said.
Baked goods from Buttermilk Bakery, coffee from Lineage Coffee Roasting, wraps and breakfast bowls from Press’d and other items will be available for purchase as well.
“It’s kind of like a little kombucha convenience store,” Stewart said.
